ANTHEM Parent Cue – Real Friends

It is crazy to think about; but, the end of the school year is right around the corner! With that said, we are excited as we enter into the summer months here in ANTHEM because we are excited to celebrate the Class of 2021 while welcoming in the new 7th Grade class. For more details on Launch Sunday, click here.

This Sunday, we are excited to kick off with a brand-new series: Real Friends.

Over the next three weeks in ANTHEM, we will be focusing that in this phase, having good friends is incredibly important to teenagers. But finding real friendships is incredibly tricky (even as adults!). Often teenagers don’t realize that having great friends is just as much about becoming as it is about finding. That’s why in series, we’re encouraging youth to take a step toward being a good friend by treating their friends the way they want to be treated.

As we jump into this new series, we want all parties involved to feel equipped + properly resourced. We are walking our ANTHEM Tribe Leaders through conversation guides + other resources for navigating through the various aspects of the topics we are approaching. With that said, we want to prepare YOU (the parent or guardian of the teenager) just as much for the conversations that might come up when the Tribe Leader is not present or available.

Below this post, you will find various resources (Parent Cue guide, conversation guides, etc.) that will provide direction + insight into this series.

As always, if you ever have questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email ([email protected]).

Thank you for allowing us to partner with you to make an impact in the life of your teenager!
