ANTHEM Parent Cue – What I Really Want

#ANTHEMSummer21 is underway + we couldn’t be more excited for what is in store this summer from Nights of Worship to age-specific events! With that said, we are excited to be kicking-off a brand new series this Sunday night: What I Really Want

Over the next few weeks in ANTHEM, we will be focusing in on the idea of temptation. This series is designed to help junior highers recognize, understand, resist + deal with the temptation that is in their lives. As we know, this can be a tricky subject to navigate in this phase, as some junior highers may not even be aware that they are being tempted at this point. And if they are, their ability to regulate + find the self-control to resist can be challenging.

That’s why our goal of this series isn’t just to help them fight against temptation; it’s also to help them build the ability to see temptation for what it is when it’s happening + give them the tools they need to choose God’s best instead.

As we jump into this new series, we want all parties involved to feel equipped + properly resourced. We are walking our ANTHEM Tribe Leaders through conversation guides + other resources for navigating through the various aspects of the topics we are approaching. With that said, we want to prepare YOU (the parent or guardian of the teenager) just as much for the conversations that might come up when the Tribe Leader is not present or available.

Below this post, you will find various resources (Parent Cue guide, conversation guides, etc.) that will provide direction + insight into this series.

As always, if you ever have questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email ([email protected]).

Thank you for allowing us to partner with you to make an impact in the life of your teenager!
