‘Tis the Season of Impact.

Here’s what we’re doing…

It’s that time of year again and we couldn’t be more excited to use our generosity to support our local and global impact partners in the important work they do in caring for vulnerable kids and families both in our backyard and on the other side of the world.

Here are a few highlights of how your Season of Impact giving will be used:

  • Feed 1500+ kids in Malawi for 2024
  • Build a well in Malawi
  • Build 4 homes in Mexico
  • Sponsor 500 kids with Giving Tree
  • Support missionaries around the world
  • Build two rooms at PHX Dream Center
  • Provide additional support for all partners

All November MISSION Kids will have a number of ways for you to dive in and serve our global and local partners.

Season of Impact 2023

This Year MISSION Kids has a Goal to raise $1500.00 towards the Season of Impact campaign.

To do this, we will need your help on average we have 350 – 400 kids. If we had 300 kids bring $5.00 we would hit our goal instantly!

We will have a time during service to talk about giving as well as to collect offering. Every week we will update our total of where we are at and how much further we have to go. We will go till Sunday, November 26 being the last day of collection.

For the whole month of November we will be collecting a few items for our local partners. You can join us by bringing in new bars of soap or toothbrushes and toothpaste.

We will have 2 boxes on our stages in our Preschool, Kinder – 3rd, and Preteen spaces for collections. Items can be brought back until Nov 26.

Kids, you can have an impact on our local community on Saturday, November 11, 2023!

Serve Day is one of the best ways for you to get involved in making an local impact. At Serve Day, you will have the opportunity to lock arms and work alongside one of our Local Partners to help them care for vulnerable kids and families in our area. Spots are limited, so sign up with your family soon to save yours!

There are plenty of opportunities to serve with the whole family that are kid friendly. After you sign up you will get instructions on where to meet and it will go from 9a – 12.

Last year, we did our first ever Giving Tree as a part of the Season of Impact to help provide Christmas presents for vulnerable kids in our state who otherwise might not have a whole lot to look forward to. According to our local impact partner, DCS, your generosity accounted for over 25% of all the gifts given to kids in the foster care system last year. This year, our goal is to sponsor Christmas for 500 kids. You can participate by selecting your adoptee off a giving tree in the courtyard during one of our Sunday services this month.

In our kid spaces we will have christmas trees with tags like ones below that will help prompt the conversation for you as a parent to guide you kid through the process.
